Schools, and all childcare providers, are being asked to continue to provide care for a limited number of children - children who are vulnerable, and children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home.

  • Children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response

We have contacted all parents to tell us if they are in this category. If you have not responded and you need your child to come to school please let us know as soon as possible

The Government has stated that

‘If workers think they fall within the critical categories  they should confirm with their employer that, based on their business continuity arrangements, their specific role is necessary for the continuation of this essential public service.’ I

If you identify as a critical Key worker and your employer needs you to work away from home as part of their Business Continuity Plan this means that we will provide a school place for your child. Could you please provide proof from your employer.

This is so that we can plan our staffing and look after your children and colleagues safely in school.

Thank you foe your cooperation in this matter

Mrs McGowan
