Today in Year 3, we traveled back in time to The Stone Age (Mesolithic Period) and imagined we were Hunter-Gatherers. We looked at the threats and assets which existed for the Hunter-Gatherers. We then went on a hunt of the school grounds, to see what assets we could find that would help us to survive. Here are some things we found:

Sticks- to build fires that protect us from the cold.

Sticks- To make weapons which we can hunt for animals with.

Stream- Where we could get fresh water and maybe do some fishing.

Tree- We could use them for shelter to protect us from the bad weather.

Stones- We could use them to make weapons or caves.

Flowers- to eat and prevent us from being hungry.
