Today we moved on to looking at nets of 3D shapes. This helped us to be able to identify 2D shapes on the surface of 3D shapes. We had to use the net of a pyramid to make the 3D shape, which was a little bit tricky, but we all managed it! Then Miss Radcliffe gave us a sheet with all the nets of different 3D shapes on it. We had to use this to write which 2D shapes we could see. For example on a cuboid there were squares and rectangles, on a cylinder, there were circles and rectangles! It was lots of fun!
