Today in Spanish we started a new topic on food and drink.  We learned the phrase Te gusta..., meaning 'do you like..?'  We sang a song asking, 'Te gusta el chocolate and lots of other Spanish foods; helado - ice cream, pizza - pizza, fresas dulces - fresh strawberries, jamon - ham, chocolate - chocolate, queso - cheese and limonada - lemonade.  We remembered how to pronounce the j in rojo and used it to help us pronounce the j in jamon.  Mrs Nadin talked to us about food being either masculine or feminine in Spain which is why the foods had el or la in them.
