Festival of Songkran

Year 3 learnt about the festival of Songkran, a water festival. We heard the legend of Songkran and discussed its meaning. We discussed how the festival was similar to Catholicism. We asked and responded to questions about the festival. In groups, we acted out the legend we had heard.

Year 3's Easter Banner

 

For the Easter banner competition, Year 3 made a banner of The Last Supper. We used tissue paper to decorate our lettering, we drew and coloured in the Disciples and Jesus and created a stain glass window effect around the banner.
