Our hockey competitors took part in the Manchester Hockey Finals at Manchester High school for girls today.  There were two competitions; one playing for points and one was for the schools games values.

Our blue and white team competed in the school games values finals and games were scored on respect, honesty, determination, passion, team work and self-belief.  Our children were incredible and finished 3rd overall, what a fantastic achievement!

Our black and red team competed for points and they won every single game!  What amazing competitors, we are all so proud of you!  A special mention to Ayo in year 6 who scored in every single match, what a superstar!

We love sport at St Francis and we achieve highly but we mustn't forget the hard work, time and all the practise that Mrs Jagger-Smith puts in to prepare the children for their sporting events.  We are lucky to have you Mrs Jagger-Smith!
